PREFACE

 

Research is one way to discover, rediscover and obtain new knowledge, by blending the past in the present and even for the future. Research is useless if it is not delivered, presented, shared in fora, and published. Research fora and publication could ignite others to conduct researches for development and enhancement of our educational standards. Research also can also help improve our teaching methods and knowledge in dealing with individual differences of the students.

 

Thus, the Alliance of Teachers for Innovative Education and Excellence Inc. in Mindanao State University conducted their 1st International Multidisciplinary Research Conference 2016 (IMRC 2016) to give avenue to the researchers and in collaborating institutions and universities in the Philippines. This year’s conference theme is catered to globalized society, “Bridging the Nations through Global Researchâ€.

 

Alliance of Teachers for Innovative Education and Excellence Inc. envisioned that researchers anywhere across the globe will gather and collaborate with each other towards a unified goal that is searching new knowledge, skills and pedagogies, issues and concerns that could enhance education towards excellence.

 

The IMRC 2016 conference allowed different researchers to share their research findings, implications and recommendations of their research outputs. The researchers are in different fields such as Math Education, Science Education, Social Sciences and Humanities and allied fields in education.

 

In light of this research importance, the Alliance of Teachers for Innovative Education and Excellence Inc. with a SEC No. CN 201532144 in Mindanao State University, which was formerly known as Teacher Association for Excellence in Education (TAEED) was motivated to create this kind of avenue aiming a vision to become an internationally known organization in the field of research, publications and trainings.

 

To fulfill this vision, it is our mission to provide opportunity for the researchers, teachers, students, and other stakeholders to share their research output, collaborate, and explore different research endeavor towards quality of life and excellence in education; to contribute to the ongoing efforts for a world class academe; to publish peer reviewed papers both in national and international publications; to train teachers and students in scientific writing; and to enhance teachers-pedagogical content knowledge in many fields for achieving excellence in education.

 

Lastly, this second journal publication of the group is humbly dedicated to all researchers. Thank you for your trust and confidence to us.
